Faculty of Pharmacy has during her existence gained a significant position in the university system in the Slovak Republic. Graduates of pharmacy find application in all areas of pharmacy and health, not only in Slovak republic, but also in European Union countries. The standard length of the Master study of Pharmacy last five years and it is based on a credit system. In the first two years, students revise and extend their knowledge of elementary physical and medical issues, at the level needed to understand pharmacy issues. Students attend lectures and participate at seminars of pharmacy practice. The program terminates with a state examination and the thesis defense. Successful students receive the Mgr. degree. Nowadays, there are over 600 students in the Master `s program of study.


Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava was founded in 1919 as the first faculty of medicine in Slovakia. During its existence, it offered education for more than 15 000 graduates, who spread the reputation of the faculty and represent the university in the world. Educational activities, scientific research and therapeutic and preventive activities are represented on the faculty. It consists of 20 theoretical institutes and 54 clinics.

At present, the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava has two undergraduate study programs - general medicine and dentistry, both in a full-time. Studying both fields lasts six years. In the first three years students take theoretical knowledge from a predominantly clinical disciplines. Later are studies carried out especially in clinics of the Faculty of Medicine. In addition to undergraduate education, faculty provides doctoral studies, leading to award of PhD degree (Philosophiae doctor).


Bratislava is one of the youngest capitals of Europe. Nevertheless, it is a city with a rich history of the free royal coronation city, at a time when it was called Pressburg (BRATISLAVA, Pressburg). Today Bratislava is a dynamically developing metropolis, full of young and charming people, who create nice and unique atmosphere.
Thanks to its location in the heart of Europe, on the banks of the Danube River, it is an important crossroad of trade routes and meeting place of many cultures. 
Nowadays Bratislava is experiencing its great boom. With its 457 thousand inhabitants, it is a political, business and educational center of Slovakia.


The Slovak Republic (short form: Slovakia) is a landlocked state in Central Europe. It has a population of over five million and an area of about 49,000 square kilometers. Slovakia is a landlocked country bordered by the Czech Republic and Austria to the west, Poland to the north, Ukraine to the east and Hungary to the south. The official language is Slovak, a member of the Slavic language family.


The total annual tuition fee is € 7.200,- and has to be paid at once.

Step 1

Submit a completed online application form, pay the application fee (includes entrance exam fee) and send supporting documents.

The supporting documents are:

  • Contract Mediation study (applicant shall sign both copies, which will send with other documents. Agency Dievrinsis send you back one signed original)
  • A completed University Application Form
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) - in English
  • High School Leaving Certificate (original or verified copy) - two copies required - one for the University and one for the Regional Authority Office. One of the certificates has to be present with an Apostille from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in home country.
  • Photocopy of the passport
  • Birth certificate
  • Two passport-sized photographs
  • Proof of application fee payment - bank swift + completed fee transfer form

All these documents must be provided in original or as verified copies (with original stamps and signatures).
