In the English program , which runs for 20 years successfully graduated and received a degree in general medicine and dentistry more than 1,800 international students.

Dentistry - course lasts 6 years ( 12 terms)

Each academic year begins in September and lasts until the end August. From academic year 2001/2002 was introduced credit system, Which is compatible with the European Credit Transfer System, diploma and degree is valid in all European countries.

Dentistry is a separate medical program whose task is diagnosis , prevention and treatment of conditions of the mouth and teeth . Mainly involves the problem of the two most commonly occurring chronic infectious disease of the human population - dental caries and periodontal diseases and their complications , as well as other conditions affecting the mouth and Jaw - facial area . Extent of knowledge of general - medical disciplines is the extent necessary for the creation and promotion of health in general with a special focus on health and diseases of the oral cavity in relation to the integrity of the whole organism . Graduate program of study dentistry give sufficient theoretical knowledge , practical knowledge and skill necessary to be able to independently after graduation to perform basic tasks in the course of dental treatment and preventive care . In theory controls necessary theoretical knowledge and clinical subjects and clinical fields of medicine and dentistry in particular in the context of the integrity of the whole organism . In practical terms, you will learn the basic dental diagnostic , therapeutic and preventive procedures so as to be able to independently perform all routine practical procedures and operations in the oral cavity and these could assert itself in the business and the individual practice. In its work, apply a general - medical perspective , multidisciplinary medical approach and follows the scientific basis of medicine and art. Knows the relation between the manifestations of systemic disease and their relations with diseases of the mouth and face , which are based on studies in general medical - clinical subjects .

Can alone establish a comprehensive hospital - patient preventive treatment plan and implement it on the basis of current knowledge and understanding of the whole complex subjects dentistry and work organization dentist .

The required level of skills and knowledge in accordance with Council Directive č.78/686/EEC EU member countries accepted Ministry of Education.

The supporting documents are:
