ABOUT STUDY

V4 international partners for the engineering study are the Business and Economics Faculty of the Czech Agricultural University in Prague (CZ), Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Agricultural University of Warsaw (Poland) and Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of St. Stephen in Gödöllő (Hungary). Study will be carried out in English language. At the beginning of the study, an international group will be created, which will consist of 5 students from each country, altogether 20 students. The V4 group of students will study the first semester in Nitra, the next semester in Warsaw and the second year of study in Prague and Gödöllő.

The study will terminate with a theoretical state examination and the thesis defense. The students obtain diploma of their home university, certificate about the completion of V4 study, signed by representatives of all partner universities and the Diploma Supplement, documenting the study in 4 countries. Incalculable value will have particularly linguistic and professional competence, intercultural and practical experience, useful in the professional life of a graduate of this study program.

ABOUT UNIVERSITY

The purpose of the faculty is to educate graduates with cross-cutting education and good language skills, who are ready to operate the business administration, management of companies and territorial units, marketing approaches in business, banking system and financial markets, international trade policy, finance, law and information systems. Among the Faculties of Economics in Slovakia, it has his prominent position. It provides a high quality level of teaching vocational subjects, the emphasis on language training, information exchange in international cooperation and the use of multimedia educational programs.

Slovak University of Agriculture (SUA) in Nitra is a top educational and scientific institution, whose main task is to provide higher education based on scientific knowledge in agriculture and related industries and creative scientific research. The University of Agriculture has its unique position and a nationwide signification among the Slovak universities.

Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra and its colleges provide higher education in accredited study programs and study programs in all three levels of higher education: bachelor, master and graduate. Currently accredited programs on 6 faculties can be made in daily or external form of study.

ABOUT CITY

Graduates of the program apply in business field, oriented on trade and business service, as head of operations, or sales representative. Graduate can also find application in institutions based on tourism, hotels, institutions engaged in market research, marketing and other business institutions and business entities. This bachelor degree program is taught in English and it ends up with a state examination and the thesis defense. The graduate will obtain the Bachelor degree.

ABOUT COUNTRY

The Slovak Republic (short form: Slovakia) is a landlocked state in Central Europe. It has a population of over five million and an area of about 49,000 square kilometers. Slovakia is a landlocked country bordered by the Czech Republic and Austria to the west, Poland to the north, Ukraine to the east and Hungary to the south. The largest city is the capital, Bratislava, and the second largest is Košice. Slovakia is a member state of the European Union, NATO, United Nations, OECD and WTO among others. The official language is Slovak, a member of the Slavic language family.

  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Passing the entrance examination
  • Submission of the online application form with timely payment of fees

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Step 1

Submit a completed online application form, pay the application fee (includes entrance exam fee) and send supporting documents.

The supporting documents are:

  • Contract Mediation study (applicant shall sign both copies, which will send with other documents. Agency Dievrinsis send you back one signed original)
  • A completed University Application Form
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) - in English
  • High School Leaving Certificate (original or verified copy) - two copies required - one for the University and one for the Regional Authority Office. One of the certificates has to be present with an Apostille from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in home country.
  • Photocopy of the passport
  • Birth certificate
  • Two passport-sized photographs
  • Proof of application fee payment - bank swift + completed fee transfer form

All these documents must be provided in original or as verified copies (with original stamps and signatures).

Receive a university acceptance/rejection letter or provisional acceptance* letter.

* The provisional acceptance letter means that admission into the University is pending until all documents are submitted and the applicant pays the tuition fee.

Step 4

If accepted to the University, students must pay the registration fee within 14 days after receiving the letter of acceptance.
